Anaemia Medicines
Most commonly, people with anemia report non-specific symptoms of a feeling of weakness, or fatigue, general malaise and sometimes poor concentration. They may also report dyspnea (shortness of breath) on exertion. In very severe anemia, the body may compensate for the lack of oxygen-carrying capability of the blood by increasing cardiac output. The patient may have symptoms related to this, such as palpitations, angina (if preexisting heart disease is present), intermittent claudication of the legs, and symptoms of heart failure.

INDICATION : This Khadgalohabhasma is useful in anaemia, jaundice, dropsical swellings, sula pains, indigestion, loss of appetite, abdominal tumours, numbness of hands and feet. Enriches blood.
Dosage : 1g = 4 doses
- For anaemia : Add two doses of Triphalachurna to one dose of Lohabhasma and use with honey twice daily.
- For cough, hiccough and pains : Add euqal quantity of the powder of Trikatuka and use one dose twice daily with the juice of betel leaves.
- For dropsy caused due to meha : Lohabhasma 10g, Silajit Bhasma 10g, Triphalachuran 24g are mixed and powdered and made in to 41 euqal doses. Use one dose each time both morning and evening with decoction of dry amala.

INDICATION :
- Useful in anaemia, jaundice, dropsy, chronic fever, heaviness and pains in the chest, flatulency and periodical sula pains in the abdomen and enlargement of spleen and liver.
Dosage : 1g = 3 doses
- Add the powder of sounth and maricha double the dose of the medicine and use with the decoction of triphala for dropsy.
- Use one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening with the juice of bhringraj leaves for chronic fever and jaundice.
- Use twice daily with Draksharista and Lohasava for anaemia.
- Use morning and evening one dose each time with fresh cow urine for enlargement of spleen and liver.
