Any inability or disorder that affects the male reproductive system is known as impotency. It is not limited alone to the ability to perform sexual actions, but also the inability to beget children. There are some conditions, mental or physical or both, that prevents a man from successfully performing sexual intercourse. The sexual disabilities, of course, will hamper natural procreation. In the case of the female, the inability is known as frigidity.
